Midweek Camping, hiking, biking...

hey y'all. I just got back from an overnight at Deception Pass and it was awesome! There were loads of campsites, good bik-trails, ocean beaches, freshwater lake. Early a.m. the beach was deserted and beautiful. While I'm normally a wilderness backpacker and game for more I've been "allowing" myself to car camp last couple years and I love it! So much to explore and experience around here. Taking bikes along turned a simple campout into awesome recreation.

Also let me remind y'all that my Mt. Baker Highway property is designed as a free campground for friends. With a little work the trails could be mountain bike loops and its a great jumping off point for many great hikes and walks including some outstanding secrets!

Hi fellow hikers!

YAY Spring in WA! I moved back to the PacNW after being gone for too long...
I live on Kitsap Peninsula (across the water from Seattle), and currently have
Tues & Wed off...

I'm hoping to explore the Olympics this summer... anyone interested?

weekday mornings near Seattle?

I’m looking for recommendations for hikes near Seattle. I usually work evenings and would like to find places within a 1 hour drive from Seattle, and a 1 to 2 hour hike.

Info on BC tour

I have four days...leaving from Seattle.

I was thinking BC since I have never been to Canada.

I was thinking of driving down the coast until the end of Rt. 101 and then over to Vancouver Island, traveling south and catch a ferry back to Seattle.

Any cool stops along the way??? I'll take any advice.

Summer's coming to a close and this could be your last chance to enjoy the beautiful clothing-optional beach on Sauvies Island.

All are welcome, it's a safe venue and best of all . . . it is completely legal.

I'm headed down Monday morning for an entire day. Room for 1 or 2 more to share gas costs. Or we can all meet down there for a get-together party.

I want this to be an active tribe where people will actually do something instead of just talking about doing.

I've been out hiking 3 times already within the past month and it just so addicting. Addicting, I tell you! I was supposed to go today but the gal I was going with didn't make it and I am a safe hiker and will not hike alone. (Boohoo.)
